Namex Sarl is a traditional model base business which first opened in Bamenda in the late 1990s. Owned and operated as a provision store in the Bamenda Main Market, prosperity and the ambition to expand and grow beyond the city took over in 2001 when a second branch was created in Douala, the Economic Capital of the Nation. The reason was to fully explore the huge potential of its market and create a brand identity upon which a foundation for a supply-chain supermarket would be born.
This was in-fact the case in 2010 when 3 more supermarkets were opened nation wide, with the biggest in the capital city of Yaounde.
