Hope for a better future

Hope for A better future (H4BF) cooperative society is a youth led cooperative society created in January 2009 and legalized in May 07 of the same year under the Cameroon authorization number NW/GP/001/18/16341. H4BF is a Cameroon non-governmental organization, founded in the North West region of the country against the backdrop of increasing youth unemployment, increasing poverty, poor agricultural yields due to increasing unsustainable agricultural practices and lack of access to vocational training facilities. Our activities also include but are not limited to community water supply and management, peace building, environmental protection, agribusiness, capacity building, watershed/water catchment protection, disability inclusive development and fight for protection of the rights of the girl child.

Our mission Our mission is to create more opportunities for inclusive growth and poverty reduction so as to enhance sustainable development initiatives in the country.

Our vision has been the same since the beginning: to be a dynamic unit with a passionate commitment to delivering value-added and innovative solutions to community challenges. We envision a community where everyone remains focused on building long lasting sustainable development initiatives and giving vulnerable and underprivileged groups an equal opportunity to develop capacities for self-reliance.
