QUALITY CONTROLLER / HSE coordinator

• Coordinate and supervise the cleaning team.
• Conduct sampling and analytical testing of raw materials up to finished products (sensory testing)
• Supervise the activities of pest control service providers.
• Ensure good hygiene practices in work environment.
• Check the condition of food stuffs delivered to the canteen.
• Treatment of OPRPs sheets (metal detector sheets)
• Ensure proper documentation.

• Address areas of non-conformance to workplace health and safety standard through corrective actions and also analyze to determine reasons for non-conformance.
• Conduct health and safety training to employees to enhance HSE standard and practices and record keeping.
• Ensure an appropriate level of hygiene with compliance to environmental regulations.
• Ensure proper waste management at the temporary waste treatment site.
• Make sure safety equipment are adequately enough and in good condition.
• Directly supervise waste removal work with issuance of manifest and make sure all safety signs and signals are around the working area
• Report writing (periodic report on waste removal).
• Develop measures to create awareness on environmental protection.
• Carry out extra tasks (translation of work contracts from English to French).

• Control on board ships and in industries to ensure prevention of waste pollution.
• Ensure industries are in conformity with environmental regulations through regular inspections.
• Ensure companies comply and adhere to HSE guidelines to reduce work related injuries.
