This project seeks to demonstrate the technical and business viability of the SMOPS system in a selected off-grid community in Africa. Due to its modular nature, the system can be replicated and scaled up to supply several households/communities by adding more units as viable inclusive business. Distribution of electricity is through a 230Vac, single/three phase at 50Hz micro-grid with a STAR topology limited to 3,000 metre radius.
