Namex Sarl is a traditional model base business which first opened in Bamenda in the late 1990s. Owned and operated as a provision store in the Bamenda Main Market, prosperity and the ambition to expand and grow beyond the city took over in 2001 when a second branch was created in Douala, the Economic Capital of the Nation. The reason was to fully explore the huge potential of its market and create a brand identity upon which a foundation for a supply-chain supermarket would be born.
This was in-fact the case in 2010 when 3 more supermarkets were opened nation wide, with the biggest in the capital city of Yaounde. Namex SARL is one of the leading supply-chain supermarkets in Cameroon and has set sights on expanding even further across the continent as we acknowledge the enormous potential of the African market. Our goal by 2025 is having a full market presence across 5 countries on the continent and producing a few of our own product line locally as opposed to importing. We believe this will be highly sustainable for the economy and will contribute to the GDP of the nation. Our main offices and warehouses are located in the ancient route area of Bonaberi due to its close proximity to the Douala International sea port. We are committed to growth and expansion.
